It complements our purpose and values by translating them into day to day standards that guide decisions, actions, and accountability. Every individual representing Maple Technologies is responsible for understanding and upholding these principles.


Integrity is sustained only when each of us leads by example, raises concerns when needed, and acts in the best interests of our clients, colleagues, and the firm. There are no exceptions.

Introduction to the Code of Conduct

Maple Technologies’ Code of Conduct defines the behaviors expected of all employees, partners, contractors, and representatives of the firm. It serves as a practical bridge between our purpose, our values, and our global policies and procedures.


Ethical behavior, supported by personal responsibility, protects our clients, our people, and the Maple Technologies brand. This Code provides guidance for making sound decisions and for recognizing when to seek advice or escalate concerns.


The Code applies globally, regardless of role, location, or seniority. Each individual is personally accountable for acting lawfully, professionally, and in alignment with this Code and all applicable policies and regulations.

Scope and Applicability

This Code applies to all Maple Technologies employees, officers, directors, contractors, and any third parties acting on the firm’s behalf.


Everyone is expected to understand this Code and comply fully with it, as well as with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Leaders have an added responsibility to ensure their teams understand and follow these standards.

Speaking Up and Seeking Guidance

Ethical issues and difficult decisions can arise. When they do, individuals are expected to seek guidance and raise concerns rather than address them alone.


Concerns may be raised through appropriate leadership, Human Resources, Legal, or designated ethics channels. Reports may be made openly or confidentially. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith is strictly prohibited.


Violations of this Code may result in disciplinary action, including termination or legal consequences, in accordance with applicable laws.

We act in the best interests of our clients at all times.


We engage transparently, define scope and expectations clearly, comply with applicable laws and regulations, and protect client confidentiality without exception. We represent our capabilities honestly and deliver services ethically and professionally.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

We safeguard all client, employee, and firm information entrusted to us.


Information must be collected, used, stored, shared, and deleted responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection laws and firm policies. Any suspected data breach or loss of confidentiality must be reported immediately.

Fair Competition and Conflicts of Interest

We compete fairly and comply with all applicable competition and antitrust laws.
Conflicts of interest, whether real or perceived, must be disclosed and managed appropriately.

 

Decisions must be objective, independent, and free from improper influence.
Insider trading, misuse of nonpublic information, and unethical financial conduct are strictly prohibited.

Workplace Conduct and Respect

Maple Technologies is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.


Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or abusive behavior of any kind is not tolerated. Professional behavior is expected at all times, including during travel, events, and online activity.

Use of Technology and Firm Assets

Firm systems, data, intellectual property, and physical assets must be used responsibly and for legitimate business purposes.


Employees are expected to follow information security practices, protect credentials, and comply with technology usage policies.

Social Responsibility and Sustainability

We recognize our responsibility to operate responsibly and sustainably.


We seek to minimize environmental impact, uphold human rights, comply with anticorruption laws, and conduct business ethically across all geographies. We do not tolerate bribery, corruption, or unethical influence in any form.
